Privacy Policy

Sparky is a study app for the journeyman electrician exam. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you don't agree with it, please don't use the app.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with email or Sign in with Apple, we receive your email address. Sign in with Apple may provide a private relay address instead of your real one — that works fine.
- Study data. Your quiz answers, progress, XP, streaks, readiness scores, exam date, and daily goal. We store this so your progress syncs and your readiness score works.
- Subscription status. Whether you hold an active Sparky Pro subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google through their in-app purchase systems; we never see or store your payment card details.
How we use it
- To operate the app: accounts, progress syncing, and readiness tracking.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock Pro features you're paying for.
- To send sign-in emails you request.
We do not sell your personal information. We run no advertising in the app and integrate no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Who we share it with
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements.
- Apple — processes App Store payments and provides Sign in with Apple.
- Google — processes Google Play payments.
We share data only as needed to run the service, and never with data brokers or advertisers.
Your choices
- Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app.
- Contact us. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email mpg89460@yahoo.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Data retention & security
We keep your account and study data only as long as your account exists, and delete it when you delete your account. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Sparky is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
